OUR HISTORY

The Per Sempre Lodge 2344 started in Rosedale NY on October 5, 1975 as a men's lodge to the Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA). The Per Sempre lodge at that time had its own lady's axillary made of the men's wife's. This soon became its own lodge on February 2, 1977. The Per Sempre Lodge 2344 and The Per Sempre Ladies Lodge 2344A were very vital lodges in the OSIA. With women being a large part in the Order Sons of Italy in America the national organization found that it needed to change. In 2017 the OSIA changed its name to The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA). With the start of Covid19 in 2020 the Per Sempre lodge had to close its doors.  On March 13, 2021 both lodges merged and became a powerhouse in the new Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA). The new and better Per Sempre Lodge 2344 was born. Here is a small part of our history as we were and continue work hard in our community Lynbrook we call home.
